Board meeting agenda available here.
Please note that the Regina Public School Division Office will have altered hours during the winter break.
All student transportation is operating on Thursday, January 31st. But it is still cold; bundle up, keep warm and stay safe!
See you at school.
Thanks to parents, students, and staff we are always learning!
Regina Public Schools has had to, on several occasions, cancel all student transportation because of dangerous, icy conditions on residential streets. We would like to thank all parents, students, school families and, of course, school staff for working through that inconvenience and interruption to daily routines.
We’ve heard from a number of parents, students, staff and partners about what we have done right and what we could do better. We appreciate and welcome all your comments, observations and suggestions!
A number of things to keep in mind:
Severe weather is a way of life in Saskatchewan. In Regina, it gets cold in the winter. There are severe weather conditions that include snow, ice, blizzards and windchill that we have come to expect.
Going to school is also a way of life for our students and staff, regardless of the weather. Very rarely are Regina Public schools closed during a regular school day. Even in a blizzard! School buses and transportation similarly will run in most temperatures.
The public is invited to attend our Community Engagement Forum/Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the Regina Public School Division Office (1600 4th Avenue).
