Programs

Albert Community School offers three Pre-Kindergarten program; two Kindergarten programs and nine classrooms from grades 1 to 8. The staff at Albert School reflects the composition of the community. We have a dynamic staff involved in the students’ lives as well as their educations. 35 staff members who include:

  • 2 PreKindergarten teachers (1 full time and the other ½)
  • 1 full time kindergarten teacher
  • 2.5 Learning Resource Teachers
  • 9 classroom teachers (from grades 1 to 8)
  • 1 Arts Education teacher
  • 1 Indigenous language and Indigenous studies teacher
  • 3.5 Teacher Associates
  • 3.5 Educational Assistants
  • 1 Nutrition coordinator
  • 1 Dream Broker
  • School Counselor
  • Educational Psychologist
  • Speech and Language Pathologist – 3 full days
  • Part Time Occupational Therapist
  • 2 Maintenance staff
  • School Resource Officer
  • Nurse assigned from the Regina Health District
  • 1 full time administrative assistant
     
  • 1 Vice-Principal who has administrative duties (0.3) and classroom teaching assignments (0.7)
  • 1 full time principal

*Of these, 12 also have First Nations and Métis heritages.

Students can attend up to Grade 8 in our school, and then continue on with their education at the local high school, Scott Collegiate.
